Here is a peaceful domestic scene of a woman at a spinning wheel executed in lovely cast iron detail and attributed to the renowned Bradley & Hubbard foundry, circa 1930. Dimensions:

#1020 Long-Time Sweethearts

One of the most delightful pairs of bookends ever produced by the esteemed Armor Bronze Co., "Long-Time Sweethearts" always produces smiles. The faces of the two seniors gazing at each other just sparkle with joy. This set, in bronze-clad gray metal with a ploychrome finish is circa 1925. Each is stamped with the Armor Bronze logo and one still bears the original paper label. Dimensions:
3-1/4" w x 4-1/2" d x 7-1/4" h

#1024 Butterfly Girl

This extremely rare set of Roaring 20s-style bookends has been called "One of the most elegant bookends ever made" by one expert collector. The design, in bronze-finished gray metal, is reportedly based on the Feb. 7, 1922 Life Magazine cover illustration titled "The Flapper" by Francis X. Leyendecker. This set, circa 1927, is attributed to the X-1 foundry. Dimensions:

This solid brass and enameled set portrays a young girl celebrating her Bas Mitzvah surrounded by shields representing the 12 tribes of Israel. One piece has a brass plate inscribed "Mazel Tov on your Bas Mitzvah." The plate on the other is left blank for personalization. Both are marked "Made in Israel," are signed Dayagi, and date from the 1950s. Dimensions:
